Barbara died September 6, 2009. Her obituary published in the Deseret News on September 10, 2009 does not state a cause of death.

Barbara Ann Anderson "Barb" Our sweet Barbara has gone back to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father September 6, 2009 in St. George, Utah with her loving "family" by her side.Born November 23, 1950 in Las Vegas, Nevada and later adopted by Frank and Mareen Anderson. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church. Barb was an amazing friend, a loving daughter, and a great aunt and sister to her adopted family and kids Andy (Samantha), Kim, Chelsea. She was a very selfless person, always caring about everyone. Her great loves were her two dogs, Tess and Tucker. She worked in the LDS Family History Department for over 37 years. She will be greatly missed. She loved to watch sports, especially when her kids played, reading, needlepoint, vacations, her favorite being Disneyland and Angels baseball games. She is preceded in death by her parents; aunts and uncles. "We will miss you so much and love you more than you will ever know". Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12:00 noon at the Westbrook Stake Center, 4113 West 6200 South where a viewing will be held 10-11:45 a.m. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
