Scott died August 9, 2016. There is no cause of death stated in this obituary from Holbrook Mortuary.

Scott Alan Ringwood was born in Redwood City California on September 17, 1951 to Edwin Lavell Ringwood and Eleanor Norton. 

His love for music led him to play guitar and sing in the band Southbound. Scott loved to perform with his band, brothers and good friend Mike Richards (Sharkston) for friends, family and special occasions.

Scott started his career in the food and beverage industry in Salt Lake City, Utah. He spent a majority of his career in Las Vegas, Nevada where he served as President of Food and Beverage Directors of Las Vegas for 2 years. Scott also spent time working in California, Oregon and Mississippi, winning awards for his accomplishments throughout his journey. 

Scott Married Jackie A. Baker on December 13, 1969, divorced 2005. He married Mia Moga on June 8, 2006.

Scott is survived by: father, Edwin Lavell Ringwood (preceded in death by mother, Eleanor Norton); siblings, Jon Lavell Ringwood (Eileen), Lane Bennett (Dayle), Bruce Todd Ringwood (Vickie), Rex Nathan Ringwood (Vickie), Lynn Howard Ringwood, Ann Davidson (Chris); children, Sonni Lin Ringwood (1971), Daniel Scott Ringwood (1975) (Kari L. Gardner), Lacey Rose Kirk (1986) (Darrick); step-daughter, Megan Moga; and grandchildren, Camdon James Sharp (Adam Trent Norseth), Mikey John Scott Sharp, Zoë Grace Ringwood, Emma Rose Ringwood, Serenity Rose Ringwood, Cayden Michael Kirk, Hunter Glen Kirk, Scarlett Rose Kirk. 

Private services with be held at Holbrook Mortuary. Scott with be laid to rest on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 11:00am by his mother at the Charleston City Cemetery, 3541 U.S.189 Scenic, Charleston, Utah 84032.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to GoFundMe.com/ScottRingwood.
