Bill was a family man. He was always looking for fun family activities to do together. When Michael was young, he started him out in BMX Bike racing and was his biggest cheerleader and coach traveling to different states to watch him race. Bill was an outdoorsman. He loved camping, fishing and hunting. He was involved greatly in the scouting program. Bill was also a handyman. You name it and he could fix it. He had a solution for everything. He was a thinker and always planned ahead. Bill loved life and was so full of life even in his difficult last days. He loved to read and study and do anything he could do. He was self taught in many interests and projects to increase his knowledge.
