Kenneth Ray Hockett

Ken died on his 24th birthday, September 10, 1975, as the result of an industrial accident. This obituary was printed in the Salt Lake Tribune, September 12, 1975.

     Funeral sevices for Kenneth Ray Hockett, 24, 830 Gregson Ave., who died Sept. 10, 1975, in a Salt Lake hospital from injuries suffered in an industrial accident, will be Saturday 11 a.m., 574 E. 1st South, where friends call Friday evening and 1/2 hour before services Saturday.

      Born September 10, 1951, Salida, Colo., to Harold L. and Elizabeth Ekstrom Hockett. Graduate Utah Technical College, Electrician, Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad, Member, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Member Wasatch Presbyterian Church. Married Marilyn Dye June 9, 1973 in Salt Lake City.

     Survivors: wife; parents; brother, sister, Harold Jr., and Diane, both Salt Lake City; grandmother, Mrs. Catherine Ekstrom, Grand Junction, Colo.

     Burial Salt Lake City Cemetery.
