Mark died March 12, 1994 from exposure. This is his obituary published in the Deseret News, March 14, 1994.

Mark Pritchett Chilton, 43, passed away March 12, 1994.

Born December 18, 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Robert Adams and Rosalie Pritchett Chilton. Married Rosanne Webb in the Ogden LDS Temple on December 19, 1974.Mark graduated from Highland High School. Received the following degrees from the the University of Utah: B.S. Medical Technology, B.S. Pharmacy, Masters Business Administration. Employed by Primary Children's Center Department of Pharmacy since 1979, most recently in the capacity of pharmacy manager. Recipient of Hospital Pharmacist of the Year 1980-81.

The greatest love of his life was time spent with his family skiing, visiting Lake Powell, supporting his children in their various activities and just being together.

Mark had a great love for children and shared that love in the work setting as well as various camps for children with diabetes and hemophilia. He enjoyed working with the youth in his ward and neighborhood.

He was an active member of the LDS Church and served a full-time mission in Tonga. He has served in a variety of church positions including youth Sunday School teacher, elders' quorum presidencies and ward clerk.

He is survived by his wife, Rose; a son, Troy Pritchett; daughters, Teya and Loni Kathryn; brother, Robert Pritchett Chilton (Claire), Bountiful; sisters, Lynette Cuervo (Carlos), Mesa, Arizona; Janey Iverson (Jeff), West Bountiful and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services Wednesday, March 16, 1994 at 11 a.m. at the Orchard 5th Ward, 3600 So. Orchard Drive, Bountiful. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East So. Temple, Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday at the ward one hour prior to services. Interment in Lake View Memorial Estates.
